DAY 1:
KILIMANJARO/ARUSHA AIRPORT TO ARUSHA
Your guide will be waiting for you at Arusha airport to take you to Arusha Planet Lodge. Upon arrival, you will have time to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventures that await you.

Your guide will assist you with his knowledge and enthusiasm to make your safari an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the anticipation and let yourself be enchanted by the magic of Africa.

DAY 2:
ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE PARK
After breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park with packed lunches in our luggage. The journey on the tarmac road takes about 2.5 hours and offers the opportunity to admire the varied landscape. On the way, you will see many Maasai going about their daily activities: Fetching water, herding cattle and trading when it is market day.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its impressive herds of elephants, which have earned it the nickname “elephant paradise”. You will marvel at the imposing baobab trees, the seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River.

Along the river, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, springbok and giraffe gather to quench their thirst, always on the lookout for predators such as lions and leopards.

Partake in a park lunch with provisions including packed lunches, mineral water, coffee, and tea. The game drive continues until late afternoon, followed by a return to the lodge in Karatu.

DAY 3:
KARATU TO SERENGETI
After breakfast, we set off for the Serengeti National Park with packed lunches in our luggage. The route takes you through the Ngorongoro Rainforest where you have the opportunity to see a variety of animals including elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, baboons and perhaps even leopards.

The landscape gradually changes from dense forests to open woodlands and finally to the vast grassy plains of the Serengeti.

We reach the Serengeti around midday, where we have lunch and then go on a game drive to explore the park’s fascinating wildlife. Here, in one of the most famous and impressive national parks in the world, a fascinating variety of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes await you.

In the late afternoon, we finally reach Embalakai Camp, where you can round off the day with a delicious dinner and look forward to a relaxing night under the African starry sky.

Immerse yourself in the magic of the Serengeti and experience unforgettable moments in the midst of this marvellous landscape.

DAY 4:
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, we leave the Serengeti and make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will be amazed by the wildlife. The drive takes about 3-4 hours and takes us through scenic areas.

The Ngorongoro Crater was formed about two to three million years ago by the explosion of a large volcano, which then collapsed. It is known worldwide for its impressive geological beauty and as a nature reserve that is home to more than 27,000 wild animals.

Elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—the renowned “Big 5″—are commonly sighted in the crater. With luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhinoceros, which occasionally roams the crater’s open grasslands.

In the crater, you’ll discover three expansive swamp areas, ensuring a year-round presence of migratory animals like wildebeest and zebra.

Following a comprehensive game drive and lunch within the crater, we proceed to Bougainvillea Lodge in Karatu, where you can conclude the day with a leisurely dinner.

DAY 5:
BACK TO ARUSHA AND JOURNEY HOME
After breakfast we drive to the airport in Arusha, from where you start your journey home.
