The 4-day motorcycle tour starts and ends at Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport.

During the tour we explore the Masai steppe, Lake Natron, a breeding area for greater and lesser flamingos, Mount Oldonyo Lengai, the only active volcano in East Africa, and finally visit Bushmen in Hadzabe, south-east of Ngorongoro.

WEST KILIMANJARO TO LAKE NATRON – 180 KM
After breakfast at the lodge, we set off in the direction of Longido Mountain. In the morning, you can choose whether you prefer the route via dirt and tarmac roads or exclusively via dirt roads. This ride does not require any special technical skills. After about 2 hours of driving, we take a short break in the small town of Longido to recharge our batteries with a cup of coffee.

We then continue our journey to Kitumbeine Mountain, where we take a lunch break. After a fortifying meal, our route takes us along dusty roads for around 3 hours to the impressive Lake Natron. Along the way, we stop for photos and sightseeing, as this route offers a wealth of natural beauty, cultural insights and possibly even wildlife encounters.

LAKE NATRON TO MANYARA – 120 KM
After breakfast at the lodge, we set off for an unforgettable day full of adventure and natural wonders. Our route first takes us through the fascinating Natron area, where we can admire the impressive waterfalls and the tranquil lake, which is home to a multitude of flamingos.

After these unforgettable impressions, we continue our tour and make our way to the picturesque Lake Manyara. On the way, you will experience a variety of landscapes and enjoy the freedom of motorcycling in the midst of Tanzania’s spectacular nature.

MANYARA TO LAKE EYASI – 100 KM
After breakfast at the lodge, we set off on an unforgettable excursion to Lake Eyasi. During the drive we cross the fascinating East African Rift Valley with the majestic Lake Manyara on our left. As soon as you reach the Eyasi area, the picturesque onion fields for which this region is famous stretch out before you. A wide range of onion varieties thrive in the fertile soil here.

The area is also home to the Hadzabe tribe, also known as Bushmen. You have the unique opportunity to visit a Hadzabe family and gain an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. After this enriching experience, you return to the lodge in the evening, where a delicious dinner awaits you.

LAKE EYASI TO ARUSHA – 200 KM
After breakfast at the lodge, we drive to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport via 55 km of gravel track and 145 km of tarmac road. During this last stage, you will have one last opportunity to enjoy the impressive Tanzanian landscape and reminisce about the past few days.

Depending on your departure time, you will say goodbye to your A 2 Zebra Experience Guide at the airport or spend the night in Arusha.

Of course, you are free to extend your holiday and spend a few extra days on safari, for example in the breathtaking Serengeti or the fascinating Ngorongoro Crater.
