KILIMANJARO/ARUSHA AIRPORT TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
On the day of arrival, you will be met at Arusha airport by your guide from A to Zebra Experience. Your first stage takes you to Tarangire National Park, where an exciting game drive is on the programme. Experience the majestic herds of elephants grazing in the shade of the imposing baobab trees and marvel at the park’s diverse birdlife. Enjoy your lunch in the park, which is served as a packed lunch with mineral water, tea and coffee. Your game drive continues until late afternoon before you return to Lake Burunge Tented Camp Lodge, where you end the evening with a delicious dinner. TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
On the second day, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast. During the approximately two-hour drive, you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking landscape of the African Rift Valley. Fascinating wildlife sightings await you in Manyara National Park, including large groups of baboons, various species of monkeys, majestic elephants, herds of buffalo and even the possibility of spotting tree-climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara itself is a paradise for water birds such as flamingos, pelicans and storks that populate the waters. After an eventful day, you return to Bougainvillea Lodge in the afternoon, where you can round off the evening with a delicious dinner in comfortable rooms. SAFARI IN NGORONGORO CRATER AND RETURN TO ARUSHA
On the third day of your safari, a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is on the programme. This unique crater was formed around two to three million years ago by the explosion of a large volcano, which then collapsed. It is known worldwide for its impressive geological beauty and as a nature reserve that is home to more than 27,000 wild animals. Elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions and leopards, the famous “Big 5”, can be observed in the crater. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino, which occasionally appears in the open grasslands of the crater After lunch in the crater, you return to Arusha airport and end your safari with many unforgettable experiences.
