DAY 2:
ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we head to the scenic Arusha National Park. The brief 45-minute drive presents a breathtaking landscape adorned with dense forests.

Arusha National Park is renowned for its varied wildlife and presents you with the exclusive chance to witness the captivating white and black colobus monkeys in their native environment. Alongside the monkeys, you’ll also encounter other creatures like buffalo, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, and over 300 diverse bird species in this picturesque park.

Embark on a remarkable 45-minute safari, where you’ll encounter creatures like baboons, magnificent giraffes, formidable buffaloes, and playful warthogs up close. The journey culminates at the stunning Tululusia Falls, an authentic marvel of nature. Marvel at this captivating spectacle and immerse yourself in the park’s serene beauty and tranquility.

Next, we explore Lake Momela, habitat to numerous waterfowl such as graceful flamingos and stately pelicans. DAY 3:
ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, bringing packed lunches along. The journey on the tarmac road takes about 2.5 hours and provides the opportunity to admire the diverse landscape. On the way, you’ll encounter many Maasai engaged in their daily activities: fetching water, tending to cattle, and trading during market days.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its impressive elephant populations, earning it the title of “elephant paradise”. Prepare to be enchanted by the ancient baobab trees, the diverse birdlife, the seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River.

By the riverside, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, springbok, and giraffe assemble to quench their thirst, keeping watch for predators like lions and leopards.

Enjoy a park lunch with packed provisions including mineral water, coffee, and tea. The game drive continues until late afternoon, followed by our journey back to the lodge.

After enjoying breakfast, we set out to explore the captivating Tarangire National Park once more. Immerse yourself once again in the pristine wilderness of this extraordinary nature reserve, renowned for its magnificent elephant herds and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Embark on an exciting game drive to discover the park’s captivating wildlife. From majestic baobabs to a multitude of birds and an impressive variety of mammals, Tarangire National Park offers an unparalleled safari experience.

Enjoy your lunch in the park, served in a lunch box, while taking in the beauty of the surrounding scenery.

The safari continues until late afternoon, followed by a return to the lodge in Karatu to unwind and conclude the day.

TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we proceed to the Serengeti National Park, equipped with packed lunches for the trip. The route takes us through the Ngorongoro Rainforest, where we have the chance to encounter various animals including elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, baboons, and maybe even leopards.

The landscape gradually changes from dense forest to open woodland and finally to the vast grassy plains of the Serengeti.

` Arriving at the Serengeti around midday, we enjoy a leisurely lunch before embarking on an exhilarating game drive to encounter the park’s mesmerizing wildlife. Immerse yourself in the wonders of one of the planet’s most iconic national parks, home to a captivating mix of animals and landscapes.

DAY 7:
GAME DRIVE IN NORTH SERENGETI
After an early breakfast, we set off on an exciting game drive in the north of the Serengeti. One of the most impressive natural spectacles in the world takes centre stage here: the great migration. The migration of over 2 million animals through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem is a fascinating spectacle that you can experience up close.

July to October is the time of the river migrations, when wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. This spectacle not only attracts visitors from all over the world, but also harbours drama when hungry crocodiles lie in wait for their prey. Accompanied by an impressive flock of vultures waiting for the remains of the hikers, the Northern Serengeti offers far more than just migration.

Here you can observe the majestic inhabitants of the savannah such as elephants, buffalo, giraffes and black rhinos. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are also at home here. But even apart from the wildlife, the northern Serengeti offers an incredible landscape that will enchant you with its beauty.

NORTH SERENGETI TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
After breakfast, we set off on an exciting game drive in the north of the Serengeti with a packed lunch in our luggage. On the way, you will have the opportunity to discover the wildlife of this region and experience unforgettable moments.

The journey then continues at a leisurely pace and in the late afternoon you will reach the central Serengeti, where you will be warmly welcomed at Kubukubu Tented Lodge. Look forward to relaxing hours amidst the impressive natural scenery of this region.

DAY 9:
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
After breakfast, you embark on a last fascinating half-day game drive through the breathtaking landscape of the central Serengeti. You will reach the exit gate around midday and enjoy a delicious lunch.

You will then continue your journey and drive to the picturesque Ngorongoro area, where you will find your cosy home for the night at Serena Lodge. Look forward to unforgettable impressions and relaxing hours in the middle of the wilderness.

DAY 10:
NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Emerging approximately two to three million years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater resulted from the eruption and collapse of a massive volcano. Revered globally for its captivating geological beauty, it also hosts over 27,000 wild animals.

Witness elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—the renowned “Big 5″—within the crater. If you’re fortunate, you may also spy the endangered black rhinoceros, which occasionally emerges in the crater’s expansive grasslands.

There are three large swamp areas in the crater that attract migratory animals such as wildebeest and zebra throughout the year.

After lunch and another extensive game drive in the crater, we return to the lodge, where you can round off the day with a relaxed dinner.

DAY 11:
BACK TO ARUSHA AND JOURNEY HOME
After breakfast we drive to the airport in Arusha, from where you start your journey home.
