    ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park with packed lunches in our luggage. The journey on the tarmac road takes about 2.5 hours and offers the opportunity to admire the varied landscape. On the way, you will see many Masai going about their daily activities: Fetching water, herding cattle, and trading when it is market day.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its remarkable elephant herds, earning it the nickname “elephant paradise.” You’ll be awed by the majestic baobab trees, diverse birdlife, seasonal marshes, and the Tarangire River.

Along the river, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impalas, and giraffes gather to quench their thirst, always on the lookout for predators such as lions and leopards.

Lunch will be served in the park with packed lunch, mineral water, coffee, and tea. The game drive lasts until late afternoon when we will to the lodge.

The lodge is located close to Lake Manyara and is surrounded by different species of animals like zebras, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and lions to mention a few. At lunchtime, you can enjoy your delicious lunchbox in the heart of the park. Freshly fortified, we then set off on another game drive to explore the beauty and diversity of the park. • DAY 4:
    KARATU TO NGORONGORO CRATER

After an early breakfast in the lodge, we depart with packed lunches to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, where you will be amazed by the wildlife. The drive takes about 1.5 hours and takes us through scenic areas.

Formed roughly two to three million years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater resulted from the explosion and subsequent collapse of a massive volcano. Known globally for its impressive geological grandeur, it also serves as a sanctuary for more than 27,000 wild animals.

Observe elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—the renowned “Big 5″—in the crater. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino, which sometimes roams the open grasslands of the crater.

There are three large swamp areas in the crater, which means that migratory animals such as wildebeest and zebra can be found in the crater all year round. The crater is home to more than 100 different species of birds. After lunch and an extended game drive, late afternoon you will drive out to the lodge for dinner, drinks, and an overnight stay.
