DAY 1:
KILIMANJARO/ARUSHA AIRPORT TO ARUSHA
Your guide will meet you at Arusha airport to accompany you to Arusha Planet Lodge. After arriving, take a moment to relax and get ready for the exciting adventures ahead.

DAY 2:
ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we set out for Tarangire National Park, packed lunches in tow. The journey on the tarmac road lasts approximately 2.5 hours and offers opportunities to marvel at the diverse landscape. En route, you’ll encounter numerous Maasai engaged in their daily routines: fetching water, herding cattle, and trading during market days.

Tarangire National Park is famed for its large gatherings of elephants, earning it the nickname “elephant paradise”. Be captivated by the majestic baobab trees, abundant bird species, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River.

Alongside the river, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, springbok, and giraffe gather to drink, keeping an eye out for predators like lions and leopards.

Lunch in the park with packed lunch, mineral water, coffee and tea. The game drive lasts until late afternoon, when we return to the lodge in Karatu.

DAY 3:
TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. On the way, there are breathtaking views of the imposing Great Rift Valley.

The main attraction of Manyara Park are the tree-climbing lions. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes and zebras. Warthogs, bushbuck and wildebeest are also at home here. The park is also home to 400 bird species.

At lunchtime, you can enjoy your delicious lunchbox in the heart of the park. Freshly fortified, we then set off on another game drive to explore the beauty and diversity of the park. In the late afternoon, we drive to Marera Lodge, where you can relax at the end of the day.

DAY 4:
KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we head to the Serengeti National Park, bringing packed lunches for the excursion. Our route traverses the Ngorongoro Rainforest, offering sightings of diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, baboons, and potentially leopards.

The landscape gradually changes from dense forest to open plains to the grassy plains of the Serengeti.

Upon reaching the Serengeti around midday, we pause for lunch before embarking on an exhilarating game drive to discover the park’s mesmerizing wildlife. Explore one of the planet’s most iconic and breathtaking national parks, where a fascinating mix of animals and landscapes awaits.

By late afternoon, we arrive at Heritage Camp, where you can enjoy a satisfying dinner and anticipate a tranquil night under the African starry sky.

Immerse yourself in the wonder of the Serengeti and enjoy unforgettable moments amidst this breathtaking landscape.

DAY 5:
FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Start the day with an early breakfast, as an exhilarating full-day game drive awaits you in the central Serengeti. Named after the Seronera River, this area attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.

On today’s safari, you’ll have the opportunity to observe an impressive diversity of wildlife, such as elephants, buffalo, topis, impala, gazelles, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and maybe even cheetahs. Additionally, the Serengeti is inhabited by an astonishing variety of over 500 bird species, which bring life to the skies and enhance the ecosystem.

Discover the unmatched beauty and rich biodiversity of the Serengeti while exploring this awe-inspiring conservation region. At day’s end, retreat to Heritage Camp for a delightful dinner, concluding your adventure on a high note.

DAY 6:
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Following breakfast, we depart the Serengeti and head for the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife. The drive takes about 3-4 hours and traverses scenic terrain.

Approximately two to three million years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater was created by the eruption and subsequent collapse of a massive volcano. Celebrated globally for its striking geological beauty, it is also a sanctuary for more than 27,000 wild animals.

Within the crater, you’ll find elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—the famous “Big 5”. With a stroke of luck, you might even catch sight of the endangered black rhinoceros, which occasionally roams the crater’s grassy plains.

Three large swamp zones within the crater support a constant population of migratory animals, including wildebeest and zebra, throughout the year.

After an extensive game drive and lunch in the crater, we drive to Bougainvillea Lodge in Karatu, where you can end the day with a relaxed dinner.

DAY 7:
BACK TO ARUSHA AND JOURNEY HOME
After breakfast we drive to the airport in Arusha, from where you start your journey home.
