DAY 2:
FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN ARUSHA PARK
Following breakfast, we drive to the scenic Arusha National Park. The brief 45-minute drive offers glimpses of a beautiful landscape filled with dense forests.

Arusha National Park is renowned for its rich wildlife and presents a special chance to witness the captivating white and black colobus monkeys in their native environment. Beyond monkeys, the park teems with other creatures including buffalo, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, and an array of bird species.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park and get up close with the wildlife, perhaps even catching sight of some majestic giraffes nearby.

One of the highlights is the stunning Tululusia Waterfalls and the picturesque Momela Lakes, both boasting remarkable beauty and biodiversity.

Following lunch in the park and another extensive game drive, we head back to the lodge. At Planet Lodge’s cozy ambiance, you can unwind at day’s end, eagerly anticipating more unforgettable adventures on your safari.

DAY 3:
ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we head to Tarangire National Park with packed lunches for the trip. The journey on the tarmac road takes about 2.5 hours and offers the chance to enjoy the diverse landscape. Along the route, you’ll come across many Maasai engaged in their daily activities: fetching water, herding cattle, and trading during market days.

Tarangire National Park is celebrated for its remarkable elephant herds, earning it the moniker “elephant paradise”. Prepare to be awestruck by the magnificent baobab trees, the plethora of bird species, the seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River.

Adjacent to the river, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, springbok, and giraffe gather to drink, ever mindful of predators like lions and leopards.

Lunch in the park with packed lunch, mineral water, coffee and tea. The game drive lasts until late afternoon before we drive to the lodge in Karatu.

DAY 4:
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we once again explore the fascinating Tarangire National Park. Immerse yourself again in the unspoilt wilderness of this spectacular nature reserve, which is known for its impressive elephant herds and breathtaking landscapes.

Discover the park’s fascinating wildlife on an exciting game drive. From majestic baobabs to a multitude of birds and an impressive variety of mammals, Tarangire National Park offers an unrivalled safari experience.

The safari lasts until late afternoon before returning to the lodge in Karatu for a relaxing end to the day.

DAY 5:
KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we set out for the Serengeti National Park, carrying packed lunches for the trip. Our route passes through the Ngorongoro Rainforest, where you may spot a variety of animals including elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, baboons, and with luck, leopards.

Beginning with dense forests, the scenery slowly shifts to open woodlands and eventually extends into the vast grassy plains of the Serengeti.

We arrive at the Serengeti around midday, indulging in a delicious lunch before venturing out on an adventurous game drive to encounter the park’s captivating wildlife. Prepare to be enthralled by the extraordinary variety of animals and breathtaking landscapes in this renowned national park.

As the day draws to a close, we finally reach Heritage Camp, where you can enjoy a delectable dinner and anticipate a calm night under the African starry sky.

Explore the magic of the Serengeti and savor unforgettable moments within this awe-inspiring landscape.

DAY 6 & 7:
FULL DAYS GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI
Commence the day with an early breakfast, as you’re in for an exciting full-day game drive in the central Serengeti. The Seronera River, which draws a wealth of wildlife year-round, lends its name to this area.

Today’s safari promises sightings of a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, topis, impala, gazelles, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and possibly cheetahs. Moreover, the Serengeti boasts an impressive variety of over 500 bird species, adding color to the skies and completing the ecosystem.

Explore the incomparable splendor and array of wildlife in the Serengeti during your drive through this remarkable conservation sanctuary. Upon returning to Heritage Camp in the evening, indulge in a delightful dinner to cap off your day.

DAY 8:
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Following breakfast, we bid adieu to the Serengeti and venture towards the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll marvel at the wildlife. The journey takes about 3-4 hours and passes through scenic landscapes.

The Ngorongoro Crater, formed roughly two to three million years ago, emerged from the explosion and collapse of a massive volcano. Known internationally for its remarkable geological allure, it is also home to over 27,000 wild animals.

Within the crater, you’ll encounter elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—the famed “Big 5”. With any luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhinoceros, which occasionally wanders the crater’s vast grasslands.

In the crater, there exist three extensive swamp regions, ensuring that migratory animals such as wildebeest and zebra are present all year round.

After an extensive safari experience and lunch in the crater, we head to Bougainvillea Lodge in Karatu, offering you the opportunity to unwind with a tranquil dinner to end the day.

DAY 9:
BACK TO ARUSHA AND JOURNEY HOME
After breakfast we drive to the airport in Arusha, from where you start your journey home.
